When I started this site for Garfield back in April of 2006, I didn't know much about websites.  This was my first one.  Since that time, I have done many more and learned so much more.  Since April, 2006, this site has had 563,343 page views by 107,616 visitors.  I believe these numbers warrant the continuation of a site for Garfield but with more features and member contribution capabilities.  Things that are not easily available on this site.  I am gradually moving most of the pages on this site to the other annex sites.  This site will primarily be an admin site for joining, e-mail setup and maintaining of the Passings Database.  All other functions of this site will primarily be found at www.spiritof7-6.com and www.garfieldpurpleeagles.com.  The newest annex, www.spiritof7-6.com will become the primary site for membership activity.  The Spirit of 7-6 site is a Wordpress site and allows easy input by anyone - even non-members.   I have set up a Chat Room, just like on Facebook, and a set of network socializing pages similar to Facebook, called Mingle.  Polls and quizes have also been added to the Spirit site.  The Garfield Purple Eagles site will continue to be updated on a regular basis and contains many of the files from this site too, but without contribution capabilities from anyone except me.  That's why I will be transferring most everything to the Spirit of 7-6 site so that you can take part in the site and help develop it's content if you want too.

I appreciate your involvement and interest in Garfield and hope you will continue with the new sites and become even move involved in making them something better and more interesting for ALL former Garfield grads, students, faculty and friends.  Please make www.spiritof7-6.com your primary site, from here on, for updates, announcements, reunion notices and current activities and news.
